The word “sweater” implies something cold, hard, and heavy to be worn on the outside of the body. The truth of the matter is that we tend to really love sweaters. But we don’t always think about how they fit! This sweater is a must-have for me in all kinds of weather. The texture of the knit jersey fabric is soft, smooth, and the perfect weight that I can wear while working out or running errands.

The reason we love sweaters is because we like to wear them on the outside of the body, because then the body gets to breathe in and out. The only problem is that we tend to feel the fabric as if it were too light and the sleeves are too long. Thats when we run into the dreaded problem of “too small” as in your arms will be too small and sleeves too long.

Thats what we’ve been trying to fix with this new pattern for the sweater. We’ve worked on keeping the fabric soft and smooth with a few tricks to keep it from feeling too thin. The pattern itself is simple and easy to follow, but it’s not perfect. So we’ve added a second sleeve pattern and made sure that we have the perfect fit and a little extra room up top for a little extra padding.
