For years, I have been guilty of procrastinating. I get myself into a state of mind where I put things off until the last minute. I also have a tendency to wait until my deadline is here. Today, I was going to go to the airport to fly to Las Vegas for a wedding and a conference to attend. What do you do when you’ve been traveling for hours because you have a lot on your plate? You start to panic.
In that moment, I realized that I needed to get my butt to the airport ASAP. The wedding was in Vegas, and I was going to miss the conference, so instead of flying to Vegas and then going to Las Vegas, I needed to take a flight to Las Vegas and then take a flight to Las Vegas. I called my friend over at Southwest and told him I would be in a meeting in Las Vegas.
At this point I was able to ask for a hotel-checkup, but I don’t think I had anything approaching a full blown panic attack. I just needed to get everything set up for that flight—and the conference.
If you’ve ever been in a situation where you’ve lost your luggage, or your car keys, or you’ve been in an accident and can’t figure out what happened, there’s a pretty good chance that you’ve had a panic attack. Panic attacks are characterized by the intense fear that you’re going to die or something terrible is going to happen.
This is a pretty common scenario. After a panic attack, the person is more likely to think of something to do to escape their fear and that usually ends up with them putting a gun in their mouth. Many people panic because they are afraid that they will lose their stuff, their car keys, or theyre going to get hit by a car, and they usually end up putting a gun in their mouth.
Panic attacks are the most common reason people get killed. And there are actually several reasons why. Some people panic because they think they have bad luck, or they think that they will be hit by a car, or they think a random passerby has a gun. But the most common reason people get killed is because they panic. And it isn’t until after the fact that you see someone get shot in the head that you realize you were just in the panic.
So just because someone has a gun, you cannot assume they are a threat. When a person is panicked they are more likely to flee or at the very least, not look for help. The person who is shot in the head is not the person who panicked.
So what happened to the person who panicked? I know it can be hard to think about this when you’re on a time loop, but the person who panicked was not the person who panicked.
This is one of those things that can feel very confusing to people who go through a time loop. In order to clear things up, I’ve written two posts on hooey clearance and what it involves. First, this post and this post. Second, if you haven’t read either go ahead and read both.
